This blog is largely pictorial. It is an effort to share observations about ‘the wild’ that goes on around us in suburban Andover, MA. The pictures have been taken by students, myself or a motion sensitive camera. Although we live and work within commuting range of Boston, there is wildlife moving, eating, drinking, surviving, reproducing, and sleeping through the rain, heat, cold, ice, and wind of the year. While we are brushing our teeth, in the dark a fawn crosses the stream. While we are sleeping, a raccoon tries to evade the fisher.
This is also a blog for sharing your wildlife stories. Please share your stories and responses in the space for comments.
