How lucky was this!  Full body picture of one of the wood’s more elusive residents.  A member of the weasel family he/she lives a solitary life.  Fishers get together for only a few days in April for mating.  Fishers have a special joint in their rear foot so that they can crawl down a tree head first.  Sometimes they jump out of trees into the snow and leave a full body print.
