Never having been there, we did it anyway. We had been to Buenos Aires, liked the lifestyle but hated the big city feel. Add the wonders of the internet (and the preferred location for vacationers from BA)  and we ended up here! Life is good! We left just as fall started taking a turn in Washington - right into the spring in Uruguay.

After living in California and Washington for a long time we wanted something different. We have travelled a lot and have been pleasantly surprised by our new home.
