Some have told me that I am too talented for my own good, however, I disagree as long as I grow in the direction of my dreams. I come from a music and sales background with plenty of experience in the dealings with people.

CLS & Associates is a company that I created to meet the web design needs of small businesses in Alaska. My immediate services include audio engineering, blogs and pod casts, video and slide shows for web, powerpoint, and any virtual media. I also am an accomplished composer/musician with a back ground in playing for children and elderly. I use this talent in the projects I develop. I have done web design for restaurants, Salons and Day Spas, General Contractors, a Timber-frame Construction company, Eagle River’s hottest catering company, a window treatment shop, Realtors, and a Tanning Salon.
Media Director, I Do Promotions; Anchorage, AK — 2004-2006
I Do Promotions is the source for focused advertising campaigns designed for Alaska’s business community. I oversee a department that produces virtual tours, film, music beds and radio jingles for commercial advertising. Graphic Design, photography, sales, video editing, audio production, engineering and mastering are all encompassing to my duties.
Sales Consultant, Nye Toyota; Anchorage, AK — 2002-2005
At Toyota, I built a relationship based client network to spark sales and to my success. My first year in the car business I grossed $65,000 on a straight commission salary. After a year and a half in the business I bought a house and began investing. During the fall of 2004 I left this straight commission job to an offer of a set salary as a director for Weidner Investments.
Marketing Director, Weidner Investment Services; Anchorage, AK — 2004- May 2005
As marketing director, I built a network of referrals amongst Anchorage’s top employers by creating the Preferred Employer Program. I was also involved in making some of the marketing materials for seven of the forty properties in Anchorage. I created TV/radio jingles and a beautiful virtual tour DVD for Weidner’s luxury end properties.
English Teacher, Santa Maria Private Catholic School; Valencia, Venezuela — 1999-2001
While visiting an Up With People friend in Valencia, I took up a job teaching english to children grades k-6. I taught through music and workshops and by using my ability to speak spanish. I was not in Venezuela consecutively for 2 years as i came back to Alaska seasonally for my schooling.
Cast Member, Up With People; Broomfield, CO — 1997-1998
I was one of 3 Alaskans selected and I locally raised $13,500 during my senior year of high school to participate in Up With People; an international awareness program for ages 18-27. In this year of touring, I lived with 97 host families, visited 15 countries, performed 200 2.5 hour long broadway musical shows, and I completed over 500 hours of community involvement projects. I was even lucky enough to sing for the late pope, John Paul 2, on his birthday in the Vatican.

Passions: Performing and entertaining, composing music, fly fishing, snowboarding, talking to tourists from around the world, speaking Spanish, cooking, being out in the natural world in remote places, being creative on my mac and running a successful internet business.
My name is Christopher Snyder, 28 years old, from Eagle River, Alaska.
I moved with my parents to Anchorage at three. I’ve been exposed to Alaska’s wonder ever since. We typically did a lot of hiking and mountain biking. I was also heavily involved in Tae kwon do and musicals, performing lead roles in several shows. In high school I began studying and playing music in performances. This led to joining Up With People, a musical Troupe that toured for 1 year to Germany, The Netherlands, Slovakia, Italy, Switzerland, Hungary, Luxemburg, Belgium and France.
After Up With People I returned to Alaska and started to study and play various instruments including the piano and guitar. I was also performing off-Broadway productions including Othello, Brigadoon, and Tied to the Tracks. I also spent a lot of time studying Spanish.
In 1999 my family and I moved from Anchorage, to the resort town of Girdwood, Alaska. Moving to Girdwood brought me that much closer to Alaska’s natural beauty and wild expanses. My high school curriculum included snowboarding classes at Alyeska resort.
I’ve hiked mountains in the middle of the night on a full moon, then snowboarded down climbing, I’ve competed in numerous snowboard competitions Alyeska, Arctic Valley and Alpenglow ski resorts.
Here’s a quick list of my attributes and experiences in Alaska.
-I’m very much a people person! I love meeting new people and learning all I can from and about them.
