$10 FOCUSER INDICATOR

 


I wanted a focuser indicator for my Coronado solar scope. This was put together for about $10.

The calipers prongs where removed . Two 14" wire ties where super glued to the bottom of the caliper display. A wire tie was put into the hole on the end of the calipers, pulled tight and cut off. Another wire tie was run through this tie to wrap around the eyepiece holder. Two where used in the picture I did not have one large enough. Cut four 2 1/4" pieces from a rubber truck tie down cord. Mount the calipers onto the telescope with one piece of rubber under the readout and the other three evenly spaced around the telescope. Connect the two 14" wire ties around the telescope pull tight and cut off excess. Connect the wire tie, at the end of the calipers, around the eyepiece
holder pull tight and cut off excess.
