ARTIST’S BIOGRAPHY:

BJ Goddard is a remarkable artist and photographer.  She has the talent to transform her photographs into exceptional pieces of art through composition and capture of colors in her surroundings.  Art in various mediums has been part of B.J. Goddard’s life for many years.  A long time resident of Southern California and avid traveler, BJ has recently moved to Southeast Georgia.  BJ’s original inspiration came from her work with fiber art in the form of macramé and needlework.  It wasn’t until she began traveling to exotic locations that photography captured her imagination.  The bright colors and sharp contrasts of the Caribbean & South Pacific, that were so abundant, caught her eye.  The magnificent and graceful animals of Africa and Australia inspired her creativity.  The uniqueness of the people she saw beckoned to be photographed and recorded.  As the digital age came upon us, BJ adapted her work to include digital photography. Her studies included computer software that is used to enhance her photographs.  This new medium has allowed for a whole new world of opportunities for her to express her artistic vision.
