EXCLUSIVE: ON BOARD SETI

From our special correspondent on board the Seti:

The new Pharaoh class dig Seti set off from Yarmouth on the 19th March and arrived over the skies of Paris this morning. Although we had started out from Yarmouth as a fleet of five digs, during the night the other four have left us and are on their way via a separate route to Egypt.

The visit of Seti to Paris is part of a sales drive by Broomes to try and sell the dig to other powers and during the day we have had visits from many foreign buyers and Broomes are hopeful that a series of new contracts will be signed during our stop over in Paris.

Seti is a warship and therefore conditions on board are to say the least a little cramped. Despite this one of the innovations that is shared by the entire fleet is the novel air flow system that allows cooling air to pass through the ship to cool the quarters and the crew.

Although this is not important in our cooler climate, when the digs arrive in Egypt this minor innovation will enable the fleet to operate in the hottest conditions. The huge air intakes and outflows at either end of the digs will mark out this fleet as a fleet which will able Aeronefs to operate in the hottest climes.
