SPY ARRESTED IN YARMOUTH

In a raid on a house in Row 56 last night a man was arrested on charges of spying for a foreign power. The man has taken on by Broomes as a labourer for the construction of the Khedives Aeronerf fleet. He was discovered copying the drawings of the Pharaoh Class Dig Destroyer.

Chief Constable Higgins of Great Yarmouth Borough Police commented: “ This man was a threat not only to the country but also our town, we will be deporting him as soon as we can find out where he comes from.”

It is understood that the man is refusing to give his name or any other information.

Henry Broome owner of Broomes has engaged the local Yeomanry to guard and protect the boatyard.

The mighty Pharaoh Class Dig being built for the Khedive is beginning to take shape at Broomes yard in Yarmouth. At least five more of these are in various stages of construction at the yard and plans for the Queen Class have been approved by the Khedive.

Eugene Prendaghast has escaped from the authorities on Malta. He was last seen in the main post office of the island posting a package. Whether the Authorities have intercepted this package reamains to be seen, but this paper demands that Prendaghast be returned to Yarmouth now.
