Toyota MR2 SP240

The MR2 Roadster is blessed with sublime handling balance and low weight - but only modest performance. The MR2 SP240 uses an intercooled Toyota Motorsport turbocharger for a substantial boost in power. To put the performance into perspective,  the SP240 power-to-weight ratio is the same as a Porsche 997 Carrera S, and its torque-to-weight ratio exceeds that of a V8-powered Audi RS4.

To deploy the extra power effectively, the SP-tuned chassis lifts the MR2's dynamic talents on to an altogether higher plane. With a fully-equipped cabin and peerless Toyota build quality this is a car that can be driven daily but can also perform very well indeed on track days.
