Lotus Elise/Exige SP-K

This really is an intoxicating car to drive. The supercharged and intercooled SP-K is not only devastatingly fast point-to-point, but also inspiringly vocal. The heady mix of induction roar, wailing supercharger and rorty exhaust make exploiting the SP-K's extraordinary performance seriously addictive.

Given the high specific output of the basic normally aspirated Toyota engine, forced induction must be treated with caution, which is why the SP-K package uses Toyota Motorsport's supercharger developed and proven expressly for this engine. Gone is the VVTL-i engine's stepped power delivery - it is replaced with a big torque plateau (midrange torque is doubled) and a soaring power curve.
