I painted a few Foundry models - see the New Ancient Photo Gallery. No use for fighting, but they provide ‘local colour’ to get in the way near the table baseline.
In the absence of any dromedarii from Warlord Games, I am painting a few Crusades infantry from Gripping Beast. And today I received a small parcel from Musketeer Miniatures, containing a unit of Muslim infantry. They seem to be lovely models, and I am really looking forward to painting them.
Those who have already got the latest issue of Wargames Illustrated (No. 261?) may have noticed the Warlord Games advert, with a unit of plastic auxilia, painted by yours truly. Not long now until I can show them off here.
