A change of editor...
 
No, not me you fool - the software!  I have really struggled with iWeb and Mobileme over the past couple of days, and have learnt a lot about them - not a lot of it good.  For one thing, unless you do  some clever stuff, all of your web-sites are contained in one file...

Men at Work!
 
I have been having trouble with iWeb, Apple’s rather nice little web-design thing.  Basically, it can’t remember what bits of my website I’ve updated and uploaded, so each time I upload the latest update, it uploads everything I’ve done since about March - taking about half an hour, and increasing

Sassanian Persians!
 
A&A Miniatures have come up trumps - the figures I ordered last week, in the hope they might arrive in time for tomorrow (our Silver Wedding anniversary), arrived today.
 
Lovely figures - lots of detail, well-sculpted, and nice poses.  The cataphract cavalry look suitably imposing, whilst the levy

I have just finished (barring a movement tray) my new unit of A&A Miniatures Middle Imperial Romans, with Little Big Men Studios shield transfers.  All done by my now usual techniques, involving the Army Painter Quick Shade, Strong Tone.  I think they look a lot

Fun!
 
I am painting Romans again.  Romans are fun to paint.  These are some of the A&A Miniatures Middle Imperial Romans.  I’ve dragged together a rather rag-tag bunch, taken from about four different packs, plus command - I think that, during the Third Century, things in the Empire were pretty grotty,
