During services at High Desert Junior High School gymnasium on Sunday, October 14, 2007,  Fr. Loji Pilones, announced that he did his final interview and passed the final test to become an American citizen during the week of October 7, 2007.  He was also told he would be notified within a month about when his oath-taking ceremony will be.

Born in the Philippine Islands, Rev. Loji is a favorite among Acton Agua Dulce Catholic community because of his homilies based on Sacred Scripture applied to modern life.

“It has been a dream of mine...Thank God I am part of this great America.” he says.   (live video)
