"Taking our good well water here in Rosamond and mixing it with ammonia doesn't make sense," says RCSD Director Kathy Spoor, "It's an unnatural combination chemically and, of course, then you run into other problems trying to keep the chlorine and ammonia together."
Approximately 30 people attended a public meeting last Wednesday, August 20, 2008, at the Rosamond Community Services District Board Room to discuss hazards of chloramines put into public drinking water.
