Scare tactics.   (Live Video)

Rosamond Community Services District (RCSD) President Greg Wood scorched Antelope Valley East Kern (AVEK) Manager, Russell Fuller, over a newspaper article quoting him about arsenic pumped into the California Aqueduct by Semitropic Water Storage District headquartered in Wasco.

Rosamond is poised to open a new water bank at 155th Street with Semitropic in a few weeks.

"Fuller made a lot of comments that are erroneous and inflammatory in regard to arsenic in Aqueduct water being put there by Semitropic," Wood said.

"Mr. Fuller also alleges in his comments that some of the water contractor agencies are looking the other way on arsenic health issues because they benefit from an agreement with Semitropic. Mr. Fuller has never been supportive of the Rosamond/Semitropic water bank and I feel making comments like these is his personal way to undermine the success of this water bank."
