Rosamond Community Services District (RCSD) directors voted to hire a park architect on June 11, 2008. MIG will complete a master plan for United Street Park within approximately four months.

With a master plan in place, RCSD hopes to obtain federal, state and county participation grants to build Rosamond's newest park.

"I'm really excited because with this master plan we can really move forward to provide a parks program for Rosamond," says Director Cathy Spoor.

RCSD directors approved $41,500. for MIG to draw up a plan. This same company planned Palmdale's Drytown water park.
