Adrian Ruiz (live video)

Adrian Ruiz, Superintendent for Acton Agua Dulce's new library on upper Crown Valley Road points out footings for retaining walls on Wednesday, June 25, 2008. With 32 years in construction Mr. Ruiz works for Morrissey Construction Company located in Oceanside and says this project is very close to being on schedule to open March or April of 2009.

Underground plumbing is going in now with underground electrical to follow soon.

A bridal path for entry and egress will go along the west property boundary for anyone that wants to come to the library on a horse.

"A lot of architectural aesthetics are going into this building. It's not just another square box," notes Ruiz. "It will be beautiful. Lots of colors and textures in it. People can take pride in it."

LA County Supervisor Mike Anonovich led this project for Acton Agua Dulce.
