Where to Begin?
As we come to the end of our first week in Guadalajara, we feel like we are starting to breathe. The house is almost half unpacked, and the kids have begun school, and ministry is beginning.
We have always marveled at how God builds his Church, and we are almost at a loss as to where to begin the ministry God has planned for us here. We are praying for a few things, and we would appreciate you joining in with us.
1. Torre Fuerte (Strong Tower) is the church plant where we will be partnering with Kevin and Shirley Haworth, and Ralph and Ellen. It is a year old, and looking to find a new and bigger local. We will be helping out however we can, and would like prayer as to our involvement. May it be precisely as per the will of God!
2. Bugambilias is our neighborhood. Kevin and Shirley live on the one side of the target area, and we now live on the other. Please pray for the people of our neighborhood, that we would meet people who are hungry for Christ, that we would be a lighthouse on a dangerous shore, that we could minister the peace of God to this area.
3. Spiritual Formation Project. We are trying to launch a website that will help create and maintain a community of leaders, and that will also facilitate learning and deep ministry to their often tired, hungry souls. Please pray for the logistics of getting this up and running, as well as the content of the project: may it be 100% Spirit-breathed.
