Gary Rasberry
&

This month our good friend Gary Rasberry makes a return visit for a great night of music. Me Man Jack have found ways to play with Gary for years. It is always fun. We’ve got a pile of material to draw from. MMJers appear on the Fireweed CD and on Gary’s great solo CD “Curving for the Coast” and Gary and Rob can be heard on our Thin Veneer CD (listen for Gary Waillin‘ on Wolfe Islander!).
If this month is like others, there’ll be other great surprise musical guests. See you there!

Catching the Ferry!
Walk on the free ferry from downtown Kingston, enjoy the ride and hang at country bar to see some good fun rock & roll for free. Until the weather warms, we’ll be playing inside, but check out (below) the view from the patio we’ll have once the weather co-operates even more!

The Music Mashup...
Bowers Brothers Pete & Kev are psyched that the fine folks at the Island Grill asked us to host a monthly music night on the Island. We hoping to take this opportunity to try to bring together musicians from different local music communities under one musical roof for a night. Over the years, either together, or on our own, we’ve been lucky
enough to be members in bands like Me Man Jack,
The Grimwits, and The Gertrudes and play formally or
informally with friends including (in no particular order):

Tom Savage The Dirtminers Kyra & Tully Swamp Ward Orchestra
Fireweed Gary Rasberry Chris Brown Gianni Salvador
Sheesham & Lotus Rueben deGroot Robert Graham Jay & The Barn Flyz

Combined with the many groups around town headed up by graduates of Kev’s “Let’s Make a Demo Program” (e.g. Liquor Box and Agpak Mum) there’s a rich network of musical friends from different musical communities to draw from!
