Making a Living
Mountaineering.
I spend plenty of time each year in the mountains with groups and private individuals as I have done now for nearly 25 years, trust me I started young! I have explored the mountains of Eryri by just about every peaceful means possible have a host of stories and anecdotes about their history. I always carry a camera and am more than happy to provide my clients with any photo’s taken during the day. I really enjoy sharing ‘my mountains’ with others and try to give a very personalised experience. Working in the mountains helps keep me in touch with my roots, keeps me fit and, some would say, sane.
Mountain Biking.
15 years ago I wrote the first MTB Guides to Wales and I am presently most of the way through rewriting them for The Ernest Press. I guide visiting riders on the more esoteric and wild rides to be found in Snowdonia and Mid Wales. Again I always carry a camera and provide copies of images to my clients. I have worked with the cycling press from Poland to Holland helping them to discover the amazing riding we have here in wales.
Management Development.
I have been working in this field for many years and very much enjoy it as It panders to my need to work with people and belief that we can do anything if we put our minds to it.
I am an accredited tutor for Belbin Team Roles and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and tend to focus on a humanistic approach with the emphasis firmly on the practical and pragmatic.
I work with a few carefully chosen co-tutors and safety specialists to deliver task & review orientated, learning by doing, challenge by choice events for a range of clients. These include local SME’s, Local and National Government Organisations as well as Higher Education and Blue Chip companies.
