For 1/4-Square Triangle Units which contain a complete 1/2-square triangle, one square each of A & B plus two Cs will yield four units. 

Remember -  making this unit with this method will create an equal number of mirror image units.


For full 1/4-Square Triangle Units - made up of four equal parts, one square each of A & B will yield two units. 



Math: Add 1-1/2” to the finished size of your desired units to determine the cut size of A, B & C.  If your trimmed unit should finish 4”square, cut A, B and C each 5-1/2” square.
