The photos come first today: What Did You Do Fathers Day?
We went to Vancouver again, this time to visit some family. Every time I venture into Vancouver, downtown Vancouver, I feel so happy to be living in Victoria. The state of the city always surprises me. It seems, to me, that they are so concerned about the sky line that they forget, or don’t have the money left for, things street level.
We had quite an adventure, as we always do. We rode a bus downtown and PD learned all about public points of contact from a concerned man who was worried about Isabel touching a things. We ate some sushi. Pumpkin tempura is my new favorite food. I also had edamame for the first time. YUM. I think that I am going to be adventurous and try the Sushi places in Victoria.
We also made a quick stop at Ikea. PD had to pick-up some more furniture for work. We then stopped at a near by Rona and bought a gazebo (pictures to come). The back area is closer to being the out door room that we had envisioned. Then the most amazing thing happened. We made our way to the ferries. We got there at 5 minutes before sailing time, and we got on. No waiting what so ever. Score!
