Paulo Azenha,

Was born in Figueira da Foz, Portugal. He completed a degree at the Superior School of Arts and Spectacles (TAI) in Madrid, Spain, specialising in Cinema and TV direction. He has shot works in 16mm and 35mm formats. His 35mm short movie “Laura’s Life" received very good critics and competed in many film festivals in Spain and the United States, etc.

Paulo has worked in South America in many advertising projects as well as in Sweden, also with the Swedish filmmaker Daniel fridell. After that, he returned to South America to finish the documentary "Andes, the Hidden Truth” that he started three years earlier. The film will be released in 2009.

He has now returned to Stockholm and is currently working on his movie in co-production with the Swedish film company Röde Orm Film.
