‘The Time Wheel Thread (Kalachakra)’

The nine-stack mountain of Shambhala, is depicted as standing at the centre of the 8-spoke wheel of dharma, as the design of Shambhala is the same as the Magic Square of Nine (The Well - in which water stands over wood, of a movement of the wind forms matter into foam, and from foam the goddess is born).  The Kalachakra of Time heel thread is the heart chakra, and so time is thereby linked to the actions of the physical body, as the heart is the seat of the emotional drives, but the drives are the forces of the universe, at whose centre stands the sacred mountain that rose-up out of the dark waters of the great ocean.
The story of universal creation is given in the ‘Jigten Chagtsul’, and this texts gives us a good idea of the archetypes of the ancient cultures, and of the knowledge they had of creation:

‘In the beginning was the void. Then the wind, which grew in strength and concentration, formed the double thunderbolt (Dorje). From the thunderbolt came thick clouds, and from the clouds fell raindrops as big as cartwheels to create the primal ocean. The wind churn the sea into foam (as from which Aphrodite was born), which gathered into solid matter. From its centre rose a cosmic mountain (Rirab Llumpo) rising ten thousand leagues above the ocean, and sinking as deep below it. The mountain had four faces, the north of shining gold, south of malachite, east of crystal, and west of silver. From the highest point grew a tree whose trunk extended down like a spine through the mountain. Its branches burst forth with flowers, fruit, and vigorous growth, and soon the whole summit was covered with trees and flowers, in meadows with rivers, on hills and valleys, of such a pastoral delight that the gods made it their home.’

A lower mountain range circles an ocean surrounding the four-sided mountain, and the mountains and oceans form 7 rings. The outer ring of water stretches as far as a great ocean in which floats 4 worlds, each with its own shape, the north is square, south triangular, east crescent, and west circular. The cosmic mountain and the primal ocean form a circle and a square, but the mountain is drawn as a diamond, standing half above and half below the the waters - therefore like the pyramid half is visible and half is hidden within the earth.

This image is the Buddhist Stupa or Chorten, which depicts the circle of Heaven, and the square of Earth, which is the sacred mountain of Meru or Sumeru that rises out of the primal ocean. In this design is the spine of the body, whose energy rises up through within the body of the earth (the body is a microcosm of the great), and forms a union between Heaven and Earth. As the light rises up through the mountain of matter, it shines down upon the lake, and out of the mud of the mire that sinks down the bottom of the lake, from its crystal clear waters of the spring, the sacred lotus puts forth it bloom, and opens to the light. In this is the union of the man and the woman, in whose marriage all the people find joy, as the union takes place at the ‘Ceremony of the Sacrifice’, in which the ancestors who sacrificed themselves in order to give life are honoured, as they toiled in the darkness in order to bring forth the light. Thus is the union of Heaven and Earth, as in their work the ancestors built a reflection of Heaven on Earth, and they called it the Kingdom of Shambhala (as the pattern is the same as the one given by Plato - Atlantis).

When the heart is clear, and mud of the mire is allowed to sink down, then one is introduced to the place of the ancestors and the kings of old, to receive the wisdom of ‘The Changes’. The Changes occur in the structure of the body, as the binary code contained in the I Ching is a universal binary code, through which all events are governed by information that passes the 2 primal sources of clear-light and empty darkness. The creative process thereby constructs the sacred mountain of matter through the Alchemy of the light source that starts with 1 and splits it onto 2, and so on. Time is the process’s tool, and space is the field of action, through which the exchanges are completed, and in completion, form flutters down like a feather into the realms of the dead - but nothing is lost. Energy only is transformed beyond the event horizon of the dawn, as out of all the exchanges in the body of the sacred mountain, renewal comes from within.

From our point of view it has taken billions of years to construct the mountain, but from a different perspective of those beyond the event horizon its has taken not time at all, as the seventh level rests upon the 6th, as all time and exchanges and forms in matter are based on 6 (6 binary lines of matter), and the 12 divisions of anti-matter. And in finding a place of rest the young son becomes light giving as his physical being is transformed into a vessel of light (matter gives out light). This whole construction of the mountain with its spine (straight central root) and ribs or branches of ‘the tree’, allows energy to flow-up through the energy centres of the body, until the energy reaches the top line, and then returns to the source of movement.

The light flowing through the spine of the mountain unites the opposites and turns them back to a singularly, hence duality and singularly can transform one to the other, as duality is but a reflection or image created by the polarities of light that cross-over (crossing polarized light creates a holographic image), and those who are bound by the changing image become lost and cannot return to the house of the true mother and father. The earth is a hanging garden created in time/space in which the gods could  rest and their children could play, but what of the house? The house has many rooms. In this understanding of physics is the knowledge of eternal ‘Being’, and the wisdom of the sages. In this respect one may look at the Sri Yantra, as its maths are now and on going project for me.

The cross-over polarities of the whole spectrum of EM (Electro Magnetic Spectrum) produces the matrix of existence, giving the spirit the power of event experience, of being able to travel the realms at will. This has been just myth, but in the workings of science or maths there is no myth, as each concept has a real meaning, and its correct place.
