The Fine Print
The DCE wants every attendee to enjoy themselves at the convention. We are going to great lengths to ensure that everyone has all the information needed to have a great experience. These topics are worth reading. All of these items can be found in various locations on our website.
Please contact Paul if you have any questions about these important notices.

★Please note that club members or layout/module owners who are not registered for the convention will only be allowed in the layout area during the initial set-up and then on Saturday and Sunday during the public show hours.
The policy to allow only convention delegates into the show hall has many justifications. The hall is open to the public on Saturday and Sunday. During other days, and on the Saturday and Sunday before and after the public show, the hall is used for convention events and activities. If we allow those not registered to remain to participate in these events (such as running on the layout outside of show hours, special shopping opportunities, social events, etc), it would unfair to those that paid the registration fee.
We also anticipate over 1000 persons to be involved in some way with the layouts of all the various scales. We must be able to police the area for security reasons, and thus another reason for the need to limit access only to delegates outside of the public show hours. And, we need the financial support of all N Scalers, so this is just another great reason to join the convention. For additional information on the layouts, click here.

★Please note that WGH is not handling layouts for this show. For registration information, click here.
AS OF APRIL 1, THE DCE IS NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR LAYOUTS. A COMPLETE LIST OF LAYOUTS WILL BE AVAILABLE SOON. We are still accepting NTRAK modules.

★Vendor/Manufacturer Registration for WGH is NOT a registration for the Derby City Express. Vendors and manufacturers wishing to participate in Convention activities must register for the Convention.
Note to vendors: all vendors must register with WGH.

★For those arriving prior to Wednesday of the convention, the hotel does not currently have all room types available due to another large convention. Non-smoking suites will not be available until Wednesday, June 25. The hotel suggests that you make your reservation for another room type but check back periodically to see if a non-smoking suite has become available. Should you desire to move into a non-smoking suite during your stay, make an additional reservation for a non-smoking suite for June 25. For additional registration and hotel information, click here.
