Steinhauer was originally founded in 1902.  With the simple goal of building a high-quality piano for my customers at the best price point possible, I decided to acquire the Steinhauer trademark in 1994.  There were low-price options available at that time, but I wanted to know exactly how my piano was going to built, I wanted to know exactly which materials were going in and what level of craftsman was assembling it.  Some manufacturers were not divulging this information, so I decided it was time to take action.

Since I own retail stores, I sell Steinhauer directly from my Graves Piano & Organ Company showrooms with no middle-man cost.  My showrooms are the only available source of Steinhauer pianos, making them an incredibly cost effective value for you: the consumer, the pianist, the concert artist or mother or father to a budding young Mozart, whomever you might be.  Please take a look through our models and specifications page to just see how beautiful and well-built Steinhauer pianos are.  When you’re finished, feel free to contact us directly for more help.
