SLOfolks, a non profit organization, brings you live music from Appalachia to Mali, a diversity reflecting the cultural history and expression of the people's music played on a variety of instruments. You will hear sea shanties, ballads, work songs, gypsy music, West African Kora, Celtic Bluegrass as well as French Musettes and Brazilian instrumentalists.

Welcome to the new SLOFolks Presents... website. Here you’ll find “Concert Galleries” with photographs from recent/past SLOFolks shows at Castoro Cellars. I will be adding more Concert Galleries/musician images to this page as they become available. In addition, if you’re interested in purchasing fine art prints of these images they are available and I will donate a percentage of sales to SLOFolks. BTW--Please visit the SLOFolks homepage for more info about upcoming/past concerts by clicking on the SLOFolks logo (upper left corner) and/or the Castoro Cellars homepage by clicking on the Castoro Cellars (upper right corner).
I volunteer to photograph the SLOFolks concerts at Castoro Cellars because of my passion for photography and music. I try to capture not only the passion and “spirit” of the artists(s), but also the ambiance of the venue. I think Castoro Cellars is a wonderful , intimate setting with excellent sound -- both with their outdoor Summer concerts in the vineyard, as well as the indoor Winter concerts in the Castoro Art Gallery. There is a special ambiance to these concerts that is very cool feel. If you haven’t checked one out yet, you really should. Please email me with any comments/questions you might have.
