The Kids In Need Foundation is based in Dayton, Ohio.  They are a 501(c)(3) charitable organization founded in 1995. The Foundation's mission is to ensure that every child is prepared to learn and succeed by providing free school supplies nationally to students most in need.

Their first donation on January 4, 2008 was color paint manufactured by Sukura of Japan.   These 9500 tubes of paint were sorted into 1,200 art kits for 98 art teachers in Pulaski County Arkansas.
