Research has more than proven how important involvement in the arts is to the development of the youth of this country.  Student success at any age depends on self-confidence and belief that one can accomplish their dreams.

It is most important that students receive rewards for their concentration and hard work.  Athletes receive constant positive reinforcement for their hard work and accomplishments.  It seems logical that students working hard in the visual and performing arts to become the best they can be deserve recognition.

The THEA Foundation is proud to be that entity in Arkansas who identifies through our excellent competition fifteen talented visual artists working with any medium and fifteen performing artists who sing, dance and act and recognize their talent with scholarships, cash prizes and certificates.
