Class Visits

   Students in grades K-3 visit the Library Media Center (LMC) each week as a class. At this time they either listen to a story read by the library media specialist or participate in some other kind of literature appreciation activity or media skills lesson. At the end of the class’s scheduled visit the students are able to exchange books and other library materials. The students are also encouraged to visit the LMC at other times throughout the week, during the school day or before or after school to exchange materials, do research, or read for pleasure. Even though each class has a weekly scheduled visit, EVERY DAY is LIBRARY DAY at William O. Schaefer and Tappan Zee Elementary Schools!
