Marcia Wilkie is a writer, producer, and performer with a strong background in improvisation and stand-up comedy. She is a graduate of the Second City Chicago, and has years of experience on Chicago’s Improv Olympic stage and in comedy clubs across the United States.
In the early 1990’s, Wilkie crafted her trademark humor and gift for storytelling
into critically acclaimed theatrical solo shows that toured the country, from the Joseph Papp Public Theater in New York to the Remains Theater in Chicago to
the Coast Playhouse in Los Angeles.
Wilkie also writes for television and radio and has written and produced television pilots for Buena Vista, Columbia Tri-Star, Fox, Dick Clark Productions, as well as for Jones Radio Network.
Wilkie is the co-author of the New York Times best-selling book, Behind the Smile, which also appeared on the Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times, and USA Today best seller lists.
