1.(1956-66) Cheerleading experience in H.S., at Cortland State(1960-64), and as a high school coach at Rush Henrietta gave me my start.

2.(1964-67) See above - my teaching colleague, Brook Stepnes, shared her experience in Gymnastics.(1966- married; 1967-Amy born)

3.(Part time:1966-71) Organized instructors for 11 classes of both gymnastics & group Rhythmics for the R-H Recreation Dept; Directed year-end shows with 300 kids!! (Lesley born-1969.)

4.1972-77) Assistant Director of P.E. at the Jewish Community Center, Brighton (1972 - divorced; 1973-married Joe Drum w/3 stepchildren; now five children; ages 4-14

5.(1973-75) Although very successful at the JCC, I left because of job discrimination; also a family move to Hilton. Became Section V Cheerleading Chairman, organizing 100 schools in Cheerleading & Pom Pom Competitions. Referred soccer and volleyball.

6.(1975-77)THE TRAIN WRECK YEARS: Knee surgery; financial, emotional, & marital stress, depression, and then disaster:2nd divorce! Thanks to my church and the support of friend, Nancy Vanstone, I moved to a condo in Fairport with Amy (9)& Lesley (7)

7.1977:The DO OR DIE YEARS: Coordinator of Women’s Fitness at the Plaza Athletic Club! Great Timing: THE FITNESS BOOM!! With a growing class load, I needed help & started training instructors to Choreograph. After 2 instructors left to form a rival company: “Feels Great”, I only trained future instructors to teach my own choreography. The Skinny School was born!
