North-40 holds distinctions of being past Colorado Country Music Hall of Fame Band of the Year and
Regional Male Vocalist of the Year. We have opened for Charlie Daniels, Randy Travis, Kenny Rogers,
and Chely Wright. Promotional material is enclosed. We recently participated in a great event, one
requested by the Pentagon as a 9/11 commemoration, where the show was a “live feed” to Iraq, and
we were opening act for Tammy Cochran and North-40 was also Tammy Cochran’s band.
North-40 is in their 10th year of performing “Hot New” Country, on local, regional and national stages
in the Midwest and along the Colorado Front Range. North-40 has a wide range of accomplishments, a
real testimony as to their appeal, quality and style. North 40 performed at the Greeley Independence
Stampede 4 years in a row, as well as headlined for the Elizabeth Stampede, and performed at Cheyenne
Frontier Days, 2 years in a row.
North 40’s music style is a real crowd pleaser, mixing new Country with old, while giving the crowd
some of that “Rock & Roll” to cut loose to. It is a high-energy group, and people love to listen, dance
and have a great time. North-40 has produced a CD of nearly all original music, of which is sold at
concerts and events.
On lead vocals, bass and banjo, is Mike Powell who landed in Colorado from Kansas, great move. Of
course the drummer is always your wild one, and it holds true for Tom Carlson. Tom was originally from
the California Bay Area, has been in Colorado for quite some time now, and is a killer drummer. Our true
southerner, lest we say a southern bell, Dawn Powell came to Colorado from Louisiana, and sings
backup vocals and plays midi keys, and accordion. On lead guitar, our multi-talented Las Vegas star,
Mike Glenn and on acoustic guitar, a dynamic musician, is Pat Harrod.
Thank you for considering North-40 for your event. Please contact me if you’d like further information.

Dawn Powell
