Welcome to Gateway Baptist
Church Family

What A Great Savior!
We here at Gateway would like to take a few minutes and brag about our wonderful Savior! It is amazing to think God loved us so much that He gave His only Son to die on a cross to save people like us. We have seen the Lord do so much here in that past few months that it has been hard to take it all in. We have had our share of serious sickness with many of our church members, but, God has spared, blessed, healed and lifted these blessed Christians. Thank the Lord that there is “New Grace” for every day and every trouble! The Lord has used these serious times to grow us as a church both physically and spiritually. Christians have been learning to lift each other up in prayer and put the people we care about and love at the feet of our Lord through the power of prayer. Please continue to pray for these families that they will be comforted in their trial.
We have seen many come to the Lord and lives dedicated and people walk the isle. It is good to see the Gospel preached and the Holy Spirit move on hearts and lives changed. It is awesome to see God move to change and stabilize people even while the economy and society is seemingly falling apart! It is good to know that our Rock is not the Stock Market, Hollywood or based on our team winning the championship but on Jesus Christ the one who never changes and who has already won the real Championship.
Let me encourage you to involve yourself in a Local Church Family! It is the Will of God for a Christian to be in a vibrant, growing, caring and most importantly a Bible Believing Church. It makes the difference between right or wrong, serving or laying stagnant, the Will of God or the Will of the Flesh! As these days get darker and more evil it is good to be on a winning team and be a part of the Body of Christ. What a blessing it is to find a place to fit in and a place to serve our Great Savior and see Him work in ways that would not be possible anywhere but a local church. What a privilege it is for us as Christians to serve God with our brothers and sisters in the Lord.

In Christ as we walk through this world,
Pastor Sparks
