In the summer of 2006, I replicated pea flowers out of glass for inclusion in the Field Museum’s upcoming exhibition, Gregor Mendel: Planting the Seeds of Genetics. In cooperation with Deanna Hovey, a sculptor and Senior Preparitor at the Field Museum, a model of Mendel’s famous Pea Experiment was created. The following photos were taken during installation.
