This looks rather difficult, but in reality it is just 1 day class.

However, you will learn a lot of techniques in a short time...

The images are from a series of an Alphabet I designed for my grandchildren.... This is the letter “T” for TILLY.

First the image is traced onto the fabric...Colored  with pigment ink and then free-motion quilted with black thread...

You don’t have to be able to draw... you will trace the image....!!!!

I’m going to let you in on all my secrets....

What thread is best to use...?

What needle is best....?

How do I stay on the lines...?

I leave the feed dogs up at all times...

It gives me much more control in a

quilt such as this one....

You can see that I haven’t quilted

the background... In fact I want the image to stand alone in this little quilt..it’s an  illustration in quilting

and I like the simplicity...
