News and Views is now a blog attached to Janis Zroback Fine Arts.....
It is also connected to my Journal at RedBubble ..
I plan to continue in this format as it enables me to post articles as things come up, and publish on a regular basis...it will contain anything to do with art...a personal diary, commentary, announcements, notes on works in progress, links to other artists, anything I feel would be of interest to my RedBubble friends and the art community as a whole...
Why a Blog?...for one thing, I feel it’s essential to share knowledge and information, with the wonderful community of artists and art lovers...
Secondly, I love the format...I have written blogs right from the start ..The Journey and The Art of Food were written to accompany my semi-abstract food paintings, and when that collection was complete, I subsequently went on to write a newsletter called Art and Letters for my mailing list, which kept them up to date on new work etc.....now I feel that a blog on art matters in general is essential..
