On October 18, 2007 an Ohio Historical Marker was dedicated for the “Servicemen’s Free Canteen.” The marker was sponsored by the Allen County Historical Society, City of Lima Utilities Department, Downtown Lima, Inc., and the Lima Community Foundation.
