I couldn’t let the new year start without a brief entry. It’s been a great year for me. Started a new job that I absolutely love. There’s something to be said for doing what you love and loving what you do. I’m getting used to (maybe even liking!) Frederick. I’m in good health and so is everyone in my family and all my friends. I’m enjoying writing, running, and photography and grateful that I have the time, $, and energy to pursue my hobbies and interests.

 

What’s new in the area? I see we’re getting a Barnes and Noble at FSK mall! I am thrilled. I am one of those people who just takes a trip to the bookstore (usually with my like-minded brother) just to look around and we both prefer B&N to Borders. It’s just a bit more comfortable. Not sure why. I’m hoping the one in Frederick doesn’t suck since we all know that not all B&Ns are created equal.

 

I keep reading that MOM grocery store is opening at Westview Promenade. Not been there in a while, so I don’t know when that’s happening. What I’m really looking forward to is Wegmans!
