I guess Frederick isn’t entirely boring ;-) Every once in a while there’s something exciting to see. Most recently, there’s a public art project called “Keys to Frederick.” If you go around town (mostly in and close to the downtown area) you’ll see these wonderfully creative giant keys made by various artists (a Ph.D. biochemist made one!). See my photo collection at http://www.flickr.com/photos/ozoneeyez/
I didn’t have time to find all the keys. I’ll try to find some more before they get taken down on 10/22.

I hope some of you got to see David Sedaris yesterday. It’s so funny because I am a subscriber to the GW Lisner event list, so when I got the notice that he was coming to DC, I bought tickets for that show immediately. Come to find out that he’s going to be right here! Needless to say, I am now also signed up for the Weinberg Center emails. If you don’t know David Sedaris, you are missing a very entertaining author/speaker. He is frequently featured on This American Life and in the New Yorker magazine. My suggestion - the best way to get introduced is to hear him speak (either live or on audio recording). Hilarious!

Enjoy “In the Street” today!
