Planning Projects Workshop
Saturday October 10, 2009
Inspiring and encouraging each other in our craft is one of the reasons we meet. Lets help each other set some goals. Nancy Griffin will lead this workshop. Free Workshop
Bring a variety of yarn and materials, patterns and books that you may want to use for your next project. We will brainstorm together to help each other plan future projects. Bring fibers dyed on Natural Dye Day for show and tell. As always bring your lunch and a guest. This is a perfect time to introduce new fiber folks to our group. Help keep the knowledge and wisdom we have of spinning and weaving growing and passing to the next generation. If everyone just brings one guest this should be a very interesting meeting for us all.
Spinning and knitting together Nov. 10.
It has been the custom of the Mercer County Spinners and Weavers Guild to meet informally on Thursdays every other month. We enjoy an excuse to get away from all our work that needs to be done at home and take a day off to relax at the farm. It is a beautiful, quiet and peaceful place to spend an afternoon.
Bring your spinning wheel, spindle, knitting or other needle craft to work on. Bring your lunch. Meetings begin at 10:00 AM and go till 2:00 PM at Munnell Run Farm except for our annual fall Natural Dye Workshop. You need not come for the whole day. You can stop by and visit and spend whatever time you may have with us.
