The official and only “OS/2 Guy” (Dr. Timothy Martin) reports:
The OS/2 user is no longer an IBM hostage. If you are surprised to find “The OS/2 Guy” with a Mac web page, don’t be. IBM has officially ceased support for the OS/2 operating system and there is simply no reason for anyone to continue pouring time, effort and money into a dead operating system. The best decision an OS/2 user can make is OSX for many reasons: the transition is an easy one; OSX, like OS/2 is completely object oriented; OS/2 runs beautifully in a virtual environment using Parallels software on an Intel Mac; long-term strong support for OSX by Apple; and OSX is just as amazing, if not more so, than OS/2.
