We watched the latest version of “Parallel Universes” on “The History Channel” today. I was surprised how much the content has changed since I saw a year ago, so dramatic are the strides in scientific knowledge. Something is working on me about consciousness and these multiple dimensions the scientists are so sure about. What if these subtle dimensions are involved whenever we are moved to new insight?

They’re example is of a man floating in the ocean in a boat. The fish below are unaware of him. But what about the rare, sensitive fish? The one who deviates from his school to follow the subtlest inkling of sensory input? Scary this would be, yes? And yet who, even what, can or should resist that pull that leads to an expansion of consciousness? This is what’s going on when we are in love, as the saints know who manage to stay in love.
