FUN IN BARSTOW

The Club attended the NMRA Cajon Div Meet at Barstow and had great time. We did not take our modules, but did help the other two clubs - SVNT and AVN - set up the joint layout. Some of the members got the chance to run DCC units there. The club also got the chance to go to some clinics and other events at the meet, including the Chinese Auction - where some members did quite well.

DCC UPDATE ...

The club has decided to get a basic DCC system and connect it to our Blue and Green branch lines. We are going to test a few systems then pick the one to use.

NEW MEMBERSHIP STATUS ...

The Club has voted to become a 100% NMRA club. In addition to being members of NTRAK, the club raised it dues to a flat $60.00 a year which will pay for the national dues for each member for the NMRA. The individual members will pay for their own subscriptions to the National and regional magazines.
