Daniel Greene will give an overview of the ancient craft of lacto fermentation. Lacto fermentation utilizes lactic acid producing bacteria to prevent spoilage, enhance flavors, increase nutrient availability and create a food rich in beneficial micro flora.

Come to this hands-on workshop where we will turn garden fresh cabbages into sauerkraut. At the end of the workshop you will have some sauerkraut to take home to finish curing.

There will be samples of home made sauerkraut and spicy kimchi style cabbage for inspiration!
