The decision to make membership in Ocean Futures both free and web-based was carefully considered. Free membership allows us to partner with other similar organizations without competing for members or membership fees. In addition, it allows children, without financial resources, to have access to our information.
As a non-profit organization with limited resources, having a web-based membership allows us to communicate with growing numbers of people at no additional expense or consumption of resources. We hope that members will share information on Ocean Futures and its mission with those who do not have access to electronic media.
