Southern Taekwondo Championship attracted a lot of good teams from across the UK including a few players from the National Team of Ireland. Shahram Safi was the only fighter who was representing Superior Taekwondo Club at this championship, competing in -59 kg Junior Division. He had two very good fights, using great counter attacks and won both of the fights by points and got us the GOLD.

Superior Taekwondo Club took only 7 fighters to this champoionships, however we came back with 7 Medals.

Superior only had 5 fighters travelling together with LTA at this championship, however for Ilham it was his first championship. I am glad to say that team got a great result, winning 5 medals. It was a long and  hectic day for everyone specially for the seniors their fights were in the afternoon. Maiwand
