Synopsis

It is a historical drama set in Venice in the 1400s. A young man travels to Venice and becomes involved in an ambitious building project designed by an eccentric architect and funded by the Doge of Venice – who he wants to kill. It is fast paced and there are several different strands set in Sicily, Padua, Naples, Jerusalem and Sofia. It occasionally borders on fantasy with a dream sequence and ‘altered mind states’. The story includes a revenge, a romance, a heist and a twist.
