In my color photography series Anableps, the river is not only a source of inspiration or a metaphor, but quite literally a place where I immerse myself or at least my camera.
With the camera right on the surface of the water, I magnify small details in the river's eco-system, catching what the light and the water are creating in a split second before the river continues its flow.
The Wenatchee River is one of my favorite locations.
