Impact Dance is a dance company open to non-dance majors in the University of Michigan community. The company is relatively small, with only about 10-15 members each year. The company's members choreograph and perform pieces of a variety of styles including, but not limited to, jazz, hip-hop, lyrical, tap, pointe, modern and character. The company's annual music collection is eclectic, ranging from Goo Goo Dolls and Ani DiFranco to Christina Aguilera and Rihanna.

Members of Impact Dance direct, produce and perform in the company's annual show during the winter semester, and co-produce and perform in the annual Dance Mix performance held at the Power Center. Impact also performs in other campus venues throughout the fall and winter semesters.
